Twitter Users Exploited after Major Data Breach

  • “Over 5.4 million Twitter users have been targeted in a major breach of personal data.”

  • “The phone numbers and email addresses of millions of users, including celebrities, companies, and day-to-day account holders or those with desirable handles, were breached and are now being sold via a post on a dark web site called Breached Forums. A seller with the username ‘devil’ claims that “Celebrities, to Companies, randoms, OGs, etc.” are included in the data set and is asking for at least $30,000.”

Now please pay close attention to who was breached…can you spot the issue?...the issue here is that it didn’t matter how much notoriety a user had or how much money was in their account or how big (or small) the company was-the bottom line is that they were all hacked. No discrimination here, no specific targeting, and no level of security application mattered. Moreover, one could assume that celebrities and large companies have access to the most cutting-edge security software. BUT as the Xposure LLC team has stated repeatedly, it is up to you to be the guardian of your personnel data, which can only be achieved through specific online practices and lifestyle choices which have been developed and tested by XposURe LLC to protect your personal data or your distinctive online attributes (DOA). Contact XposURe LLC (www.xposure-epm.org) and schedule a consultation for you and your family. Let’s work together to keep your data and your children’s data safe and out of the hands of the highest bidder on the dark web.
