On the heels of our July 14 post. It appears some strides are being made when it comes to age protection for children on the internet. According to a recent article, the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee voted Wednesday to approve a measure that would raise the age children are given special online privacy protections to 16.
This is a beginning step to alter the 2000 COPPA law age stating 13 years of age is the maximum age for online protection.
